A New Chapter

We feel so honored that you would come and celebrate our wedding with us! Thank you for browsing our site and we appreciate everything you do for us. We hope you feel welcome and celebrated as well! This is our chance to get our family under one roof and meet for the first time, before all the future Christmases, Thanksgivings, Birthdays, and many more celebrations to come! I am happy to see each of you and you better believe we are getting a lot of pictures of us together! So be ready!

Cliff was the new Assistant Manager at Arizona Music Pro, and I was teaching piano lessons. I was taking a young student around the store to look at all the neat items, and take a break from piano for a bit. She and I were holding hands, admiring all of the instruments, and I glance over at Cliff behind the counter looking at me with a look that flashes our future in his eyes. I knew then that there was something special about this man. We went to a work party at Flagstaff Brewing Company, and started talking about our passions!

It was 2:30 AM in Maui, Hawai'i. We boarded a bus taking us to see the sunrise at Haleakala National Park. We made it up to the top and were wrapped in a blanket watching the sunrise. Cliff told me the sun was just rising on our love and gave me the most amazing speech I've ever heard! He kneeled down on one knee and asked me to marry him! I kissed him and said "yes!" We hugged and kissed and cried. Cliff shouted out to the crowd "she said yes!" And everyone cheered and congratulated us. Samir and Yam were two friends we made in that moment, their names mean "Sapphire" and "Sea".

Cliff and I will travel to an exotic paradise when we are swept away after our wedding. When we return home to Flagstaff, we will continue building our successful businesses. We will be more connected to our community than ever before, and will help those closest to us in every way that we can. We are working towards a new home for ourselves and a little one on the way, and maybe... a cat... for Ashley
