Tomorrow is the big day! Let's celebrate before we celebrate! We will head via shuttle to the nearby town of Torre di Palme, a small tiny, quite and elegant village on a mountain overlooking the Adriatic Sea. We will enjoy walking around the town (so cobblestone friendly footwear is best!) before having dinner on a restaurant terrace.

We are lucky to be in Italy during grape stomping time- so how can we resist this experience!? A local vineyard will welcome us to their grape stomping, teach us the history, let us try our hand (feet?) at it, and treat us to lunch paired with their wine.

We'll be organizing return shuttle(s) to Rome Airport on Sunday morning. Again please keep us posted on your travel plans-- it appears there are a lot of flights starting at 11AM through the afternoon so the shuttle will depart Petritoli at 6AM.
