Ash has been fiercely protective of her baby sister since 1996. As an adult, she realizes her baby sister is way stronger than she could ever imagine. Ash is stoked to have a God-given best friend and partner in crime to teach her how to be humble and kind to all. You can find Ash and Em baking, dreaming of travels together or chatting about what plants to purchase and plant for the spring. Oh, and singing Les Mis songs at the top of their lungs in the car!
Brooke Grissom

It was rare to ever see Ashleigh without Brooke. Voted “best friends” in the Fowler High School 2010-11 yearbook, Brooke and Ash have been the stalwart besties since fourth grade, where they were finally placed in the same class. From prom hairdos to staying up too late talking on school nights to learning how to live a thousand miles apart, God has carefully crafted the friendship between these two into something truly honoring to Him.

Friends for more than 20 years, Jessica and Ash are the type of friends willing to call and bawl or simply veg on the couch for a full day. Adventure buddies for life, Jess and Ash have stuck by each other’s sides through thick and thin.

Friends through thick and thin, Klink has been that friend that Ash can go to when she needs the hard, yet loving, truth. There’s no BS with these two, and it shows in the depth of their love and care for each other for the past 20 years.
Earl Collier

Earl and Jon go waaaaaay back! High School friends that do pretty much everything they can together, to include getting in trouble in any way possible. Jon was Earl's best man in his wedding and its only fitting that Earl is Jon's best man!
Bruce Speidel

Bruce and Jon met while Jon was in High School. Bruce was fresh out of the Marine Corps and was Jon's boss while working with the forest service. Bruce asked Jon to join Royal Rangers and became an instrumental part of his life and where he is with his walk with Christ. Bruce and Jon hunt, fish, hike and plan a multitude of outdoor adventures together.

Jesse was part of Royal Rangers when Jon joined the clan! Jesse and Jon have been on mission trips together and play outside a lot. Jesse has been blessed with the spiritual gift of fixing things and is always there to help Jon fix everything he breaks!

God knew exactly what He was doing when He strategically placed Cathryn and Ashleigh in Horton 426 freshman year at Biola University. Cathryn has been the honest, loving and fiercely loyal friend through Ashleigh’s most formative years in college. Many marriages and a kid later, distance has not severed the strong bond of friendship between the two.

God gave Ash the crazy, spontaneous, loud, extroverted travel buddy she always needed when he placed the two together in Horton 426. People know when Ash and Laur are together, because they can typically be heard belting Fun.’s Tonight at the top of their lungs in beater vehicles while downing some California-specialty doughnuts. And you can most definitely believe they’re headed to the beach.

When everyone else steps away or checks out, Candice steps and checks in. God again ordained the perfect roomie match-up when Candice graciously accepted Ash into a rooming situation, again in Horton 426 sophomore year at Biola. Candice has experienced every inch of Ash and has loyally stood by her through tears and breathless laughter. When together, you will often find the two making egg in a hole and watching One Tree Hill.
Gina Fox

Ashleigh was blessed with another beautiful sister in 2014 when her brother, Sean, married Gina! Since then, Gina has been a great older sister and friend to Ash, providing a perspective on things unlike anyone else in the family. Ashleigh lived with Gina and Sean before moving to Sheridan. You can find Ash and Gina drinking Morning Glories at Fuzzy's in FOCO or dragging the family out on the town!
