Ashlee and Willie were still kids when they fell in love. One particular night on June 8, 2019, fate decided it was time for the two kids to meet. Ashlee has loved art since a child and Willie has always loved to spend time with friends and party ! This is where the “invisible string theory” begins, because the two kids decided to go to First Fridays on the exact same night ! Ashlee walked around First Fridays with her cousin when her cousin noticed someone she knew; but the person she knew wasn’t alone. As Ashlee’s cousin proceeded to acknowledge her friend, Ashlee followed behind and her attention was immediately caught by a handsome tall boy who happened to be Willie. As they locked eyes just to ask a simple question, the two begin to blush at one another and smile. After a little flirting and ALOT of talking and laughing, Ashlee and Willie exchanged Snapchat information and phone numbers. As the days went on, Willie realized he hadn’t talked to Ashlee since the night he met her, and he couldn’t get her off his mind. So he went with his gut and decided to reach out saying “Aye don’t be acting too good to hit me up” through a text. Ashlee got the text, and it instantly put a smile on her face and put butterflies in her stomach; so she texted back. As the days continued and the more they talked, they instantly became inseparable, starting a relationship and spending every day after that together. A year went by and Ashlee and Willie decided to go their separate ways sadly. While being broken up for a year in a half and nearly two years, Ashlee and Willie both learned a lot and developed a lot of self-growth and a better relationship with God. The two begin to start contacting one another again, agreeing to take things slower this go round and build a stable healthy relationship. Once back together again, they instantly clicked again, and it was like no time was ever missed between the two. As the relationship grew, so did Ashlee ! She found out that she would soon be welcoming their first child into this world. After carrying their baby to full term, a beautiful healthy baby girl came, and they named her Zola. Soon after the birth of their baby girl, Willie worked up his main plan and proposed to Ashlee on her 22nd Birthday ; with tears of joy. With her eyes, she looked down at Willie on one knee and said yes ! He told her that he knew from the moment he met her he wanted to be with her and had already had her engagement ring for a whole year before popping the big question.
