Are kids invited?

Unfortunately we cannot accommodate children. We hope you will understand our decision to make the wedding children-free, and take the opportunity to let your hair down and have fun on this once in a lifetime occasion!

Is there a shuttle to and from my hotel to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes. There will be transportation provided to pick up/drop off at your hotel accommodations. Please inform us where you decide to stay and it will be arranged.

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

The weather in May is consistently sunny and warm with a low chance of rain. The average high is 75 F during the day. Things cool down to 60 F at night, so bring a light jacket for the evenings! It’s possible to swim in the sea at this time of year, but it’s generally a little too cool for most. The average sea temperature is 68 F.

Where do you recommend I stay in Santorini?

Answer

You are free to stay anywhere of your choosing! First-timers to Santorini should stay on the caldera edge to experience the full "wow" factor. The four main areas of the island are Fira (the capital), Firostefani, Imerovigli and Oia. They all have hotels and villas with whitewashed interiors, terraces and infinity pools. *There are more budget friendly hotels on the outskirts of Fira* If you’re more interested in beach scenery, stay in Perissa or Kamari (and catch the 15 minute bus into Fira). The advantage of this is some relief from the caldera crowds, plus more reasonable prices on hotels, food, and drinks. The wedding venue is located at Dana Villas, which is in Firastefani on the caldera side. There are paths leading from one town to the next, making this a prime location! We will provide a list of nearby accommodation options for you in the coming months.
