Guests can wear anything they like as long as they are comfortable. Some outfits for women: Anarkali suit, Salwar Suit, lehenga, Gown, suit with pants or skirt, sharara/gharara, sarree Men: Kurta Pyjama , Kurta with pants & jacket, Kurta Churidar

Should we wear indian outfits for all events ?

Answer

Indian outfits would be preferred not required for Friday Night and Saturday . Sunday is American Wedding ceremony so anything formal would work.

What is an Indian Baraat ?

Answer

A baraat is a celebratory wedding procession for the groom arriving on a horse involving live music and dancing. While it does not hold religious significance, it is an important custom nonetheless. It signifies the arrival of the groom with his family, friends and relatives and is welcomed by the bride’s family. Please see the video under photos 😊
