Sumi was reintroduced to thai in 2021 by Ash with Birmingham's best Chicken Pad Thai! It is now one of our all time favorite restaurants! We recommend the Pad See Ew, Pad Kee Mao, or Spicy Basil Chicken!
Trattoria Zaza (Favorite Italian)
Our favorite date spot! Some of the best Tiramisu you'll ever have! Steal our order and enjoy the outdoor seating: Rosemary Bread, Penne All'Arrabbiata with chicken, Fettuccine Alla Panna, Back Forty Truck Stop, a glass of plum wine, and Tiramisu! I think we know what we're eating tonight!
Ruffner Mountain
A favorite hiking spot of ours! There is an aviation loop of predators outside of the welcome center accompanied with reptile enclosures on the inside. The quarry is really cool and the overlooks are gorgeous!
Red Mountain Park
Beautiful red clay trails, lots of native wildlife and amazing views. Some of our silliest memories were made out on these trails: first time holding hands, world's shortest hike paired with the first hike post knee surgery, endless conversations

Favorite place to go for icecream! Everything is always so delicious and seasonal! For our non dairy friends, their non dairy options are always a hit. Also for our fellow lactose intolerants, Lactaid, lactase enzyme, is usually provided at the front counter if you are feeling daring!
