Travel Note
Our wedding will be held at Waiki‘i Ranch Polo Fields in Waimea, a beautiful and more remote area of the Big Island. Because of the venue’s location, the most convenient hotels and accommodations are approximately 45 minutes to 1 hour away. We recommend planning ahead for travel time on the wedding day and considering transportation options if needed. The drive is scenic and well worth it, and we’re so grateful you’re making the journey to celebrate with us!
Flight
Kona International Airport (KOA) is located just minutes from Kailua-Kona and provides easy access to the Big Island’s west side. The airport offers convenient ground transportation options including rental cars, shuttles, taxis, and rideshare services, making travel to nearby resorts and accommodations simple and stress-free.

Turo is a great option for renting a car on the Big Island, offering a wide variety of vehicles with flexible pickup options near the airport and around Kona.

Our wedding will take place at the Waikiʻi Ranch Polo Fields in Waimea. For convenient access to the venue while still enjoying beaches, dining, and activities, we recommend looking in the following areas: • Waimea (Kamuela) – Approximately 5–10 minutes from the venue. • Kailua-Kona – Approximately 45–55 minutes from the venue. • Keauhou – Approximately 50–60 minutes from the venue. • Holualoa – Approximately 50 minutes from the venue.
