Trapp Family Lodge
This is a family friendly attraction. Well known for its beer and food! The Von Trapp family toured the United States as family singers before settling down in Stowe, Vermont.
Mount Mansfield
The highest peak in Vermont at 4,393 feet. Considered to be a tough hike, but definitely worth it. The top has incredible 360 views! Total distance is about 7 miles up and back. However, there is a gondola you can pay for that will take you close to the top if you do not want to hike.
Laughing Moon Chocolates
Amazing chocolates to satisfy any sweet tooth! This chocolatier is committed to eco-friendly practices, social responsibility, and local products. They also do free demonstrations at 2:00pm every day.
Stowe Cider
Visit a cider tasting room near Stowe. The Winders family produces 500-gallon batches of cider twice a month, using only locally grown apples from Champlain Orchards. Yum!
PK Coffee, LLC
All beverages are prepared with Vermont milk and housemade syrups, including syrups produced with local maple syrup. Vermonters take their maple syrup very seriously... you will find anything and everything comes in a maple flavor!
Stowe Recreation Path
This is a hike for all ages and fitness levels. Majority of the hike is flat with entrances and exits around Stowe. Vermont's fall foliage will be on full display our wedding weekend!
