Ashely and Nick met at a house party their senior year of high school. The party was hosted by a Walden High School student that happened to be Nick's close friend. Ashely initially didn't want to go to this party because no one from her high school, Prairie, was going to be there. Ashely was guilted into going because her friend's crush was going to the party. Of course, once at the party, Ashely's friend ditched her to flirt with her crush. This left Ashely alone, scanning the room for someone to talk to. Finally, she noticed a cute boy, Nick, sitting by the bar with an injured leg. He was the bartender for the evening (non-alcoholic of course). Ashely was curious how he injured his leg, so she sparked up a conversation with him! The two talked almost the entire night. When the night came to an end, Nick walked Ashely outside with his crutches and asked for her phone number. The rest is history.
