We will be signing our marriage license and becoming husband and wife this May. We will be broadcasting this virtually via zoom and Facebook Live. Your guess is as good as ours! Dress up from the waist up, pour yourself a drink, and have some tissues handy. We will say some vows, exchange rings, sign our marriage license, and finish up with some toasts and well-wishes.
We are saving all the classic, official Jewish Wedding things for next year: signing the ketubah, standing under the chuppah, circling, seven blessings, the breaking of the glass, and of course, what Ashley is looking forward to most: the horah. Our wedding ceremony at Smithtown Landing! We will have the wedding ceremony we had originally planned for 2020, only one year later. This will be part wedding ceremony, part one year anniversary celebration. This is a unique situation, but we are living in unique times.
