Maid of Honor
Erinne and I are two peas in a pod. We became best friends after playing field hockey together through high school. We were completely inseparable. From wearing sheep shirts, playing rock band, and sneaking out... (sorry Mom). Erinne is such a loyal friend that will always have your back no matter what. Even if you are wrong. She has always been there for me through everything and I know I can count on her for anything. You will find Erinne on the dance floor dancing to all the country songs at the wedding. We had plenty of practice at InCahoots. At least one of us learned, but I still have two left feet. I can't wait to have her standing next to me on our big day!
Best Man
Scott and I met at our first jobs working as CPA’s in Arizona. After figuring out that neither one of us was a typical accountant, we quickly hit it off and became roommates. For over 5 years Scott and I could be found around Mill Avenue enjoying the sights, ASU tailgates, and of course commiserating our losses together on Sunday mornings after the Bills and Lions games. Scott will be the guy at the wedding you want to have a drink with and can enjoy an easy-going conversation. Though Scott’s hair might get a little too long sometimes, he is a great guy who I’ve relied on as my closest friend throughout my adult life. I know that he will always be there for me, which is why I’m honored to have him as my best man.
Bridesmaid
Nadia and I also met playing field hockey in high school. We played at rival schools, but her free spirit, dry sense of humor, and ability have fun in any situation quickly drew me in when we played on the same club team. We instantly hit it off. She has a love for adventure and took a leap of faith to move to Arkansas with me for work after college. I couldn't believe she left San Diego to move to the south and I am not sure if I would have gotten through it without her. It paid out in the end, and she met her husband David. They now live in Atlanta with their 2 dogs. If it was up to her they would have adopted the whole dog shelter. She will be the life of the party in Costa Rica make sure to grab a drink with her.
Groomsman
I met Nick “Daly” through Scott in 2012 when he came to visit for a Blink 182 concert. Halfway into the first song I knew I liked Nick because once we started moshing, I threw myself into him to which he retorted with a heavy hip check that sent me flying. Since that weekend, Scott, Nick, and I have had tons of adventures together and talk on a Daly basis. Nick enjoys being active by playing pro level flag football and coaching youth football. He currently lives in Rochester Hills, Michigan and is getting married to an amazing girl this summer. Nick is a stand-up guy who can always be counted on in any situation and a true friend. You will find Nick on the dance floor jamming to as many blink songs as I can sneak into the playlist.
Bridesmaid
Sarah is one of a kind and an amazing friend. We met playing field hockey at William & Mary and we lived together for a few years in college. Sarah was usually my buddy on the bus trips and we would spend 90% of time just laughing. Sarah is a ball of energy and no matter what we are doing she is guaranteed to make to make you laugh. A few years out of college I joined Sarah on her european adventure. We toured through Croatia and Italy. This was one of the most amazing trips I've taken! We were always on the go and I couldn't imagine taking the trip with anyone else. Sarah now lives on the west coast and has picked up surfing and we were able to get out on a few surf weekends together. You are likely to catch Sarah in the water surfing, snorkeling, kayaking, or some activity.
Groomsman
Brian is a fellow rugger who I played with on the Phoenix Men’s rugby team in Arizona. Brian is what you would call a “lock.” Basically, this means he is the guy who can be found doing all the heavy lifting and not expecting any credit for it. This rugby position fits Brian perfectly both on the field and in life. Brian is the kind of guy who will offer his services to help you move, BEFORE you have even thought of moving. Brian is a Wisconsin alumnus who enjoys a good dark IPA and early morning hikes. Brian and his wonderful wife Allison are half the reason I moved to San Diego. I’ve been able rely on him as a loyal friend who has helped me in a multitude of ways while adopting the Southern California lifestyle.
Bridesmaid
Melinda is Garrett’s sister, who I am excited to welcome into my family and finally get a sister of my own. She is a genuine person with a big heart and kind smile. Melinda works for SUNY Geneseo, which Garrett has told me countless times is the most prestigious college in New York. There is no bias here... Melinda is a dedicated mother to two incredible little boys who take up all her “spare” time. I am honored to have her in our wedding party and officially become family.
Groomsman
Andrew is Ashley's brother and my soon to be brother in law. He is in his junior year at Point Loma Nazarene studying communications. He is very involved in his church. In between studying he can be caught playing the ukulele and surfing in San Diego. Andrew is passionate for helping others and I am looking forward to having a brother of my own and having him support us on our wedding day.
Bridesmaid
I met Lisa AKA "La Jolla Lisa" working together in San Diego. Her nickname is fitting for the fact that she is always put together even after fishing with the boys for two days. We connected over our sales lifestyles, Hazy IPA's, espresso martinis, being foodies, and traveling. We quickly became close friends after I crashed her honeymoon in Croatia. Now she claims she has an invite to ours in Costa Rica. We have been inseparable at work since. Lisa will be a key part in my wedding party to make sure my hair is brushed, and have that tide to go pen ready for when I spill on my white dress. She has the biggest heart and is always willing to help others. I am lucky to have such a caring and supportive friend to stand by my side.
