Are you Filipino? Plan to arrive at 2:30 PM. That way, when you are inevitably late, you'll be right on time! Jokes aside, please plan to arrive 10-15 mins early for adequate parking, finding a seat, etc.
Yes! Weather permitting, we plan to have the ceremony outside, with the reception inside an air conditioned barn all conveniently located at Sierra Vista.
Relax, Sierra Vista has a parking lot for all of our guests.
August 12th. You can do so on our wedding website. Click on the RSVP tab at the top of the page.
Our registry is done through Zola, and can be found in its own separate tab on our website.
Yes - semi-formal attire. Emphasis on the semi. Think of it as "dressy casual" Ladies - a nice dress, dressy jumpsuit, will work. If you must know, our bridesmaids are wearing green if you don't want to get caught matching. Please keep in mind proper footwear! We are getting married outside (weather permitting) and walkable paths are predominantly gravel. Gentleman - straight from Chris, "if you’re a man and not wearing slacks, you’re doing something wrong." For those who are filipino, a barong is also acceptable!
Those permitted a formal "plus one" will have seen it on their invitation. Did you accidentally throw the envelope away? No worries - you can text either of us to clarify. When it comes to RSVP'ing for our wedding, you'll also be able to see if you have a guest.
We have planned a kids-free wedding. We kindly request you leave the little ones at home.
Lynchburg has plenty of hotels to pick from, we highlighted a few under the travel section of our website.
Absolutely! When you go to RSVP there will be a comment for you to let us know about any food allergies or dietary restrictions.
Yes, of course!! For those of you who aren't familiar with the money dance, it's a cherished Filipino tradition where guests pin money onto the newlyweds' attire as they dance. It symbolizes blessings, financial support, and well-wishes for the couple's future. Want to participate? Simply bring cash with you to the wedding!
Unfortunately, we will NOT be able to provide transportation for our guests. Please plan accordingly, and take into account we will be having an open bar.
Nope, we have our hands full with the wedding as it is. We are NOT having any formal dinners the night before or any breakfast/brunch the day after the wedding.
