Chris and I were headed to Massachusetts to see some of his family. "We'll hit up the three P's - Plymouth, Providence, Portland." Chris planned for us to spend an extra night in Portland since I'd never been. After taking recommendations from family and friends on where to go for my first ever lobster roll, we landed on Two-Lights; its this amazing place where you casually overlook the ocean. We sat down enjoying our lobster rolls, which for anyone wondering was 12 out of 10. After dinner, we slowly ventured our way to the shore. Once at the bottom, we stood quietly enjoying the view - the lighthouse was to our backs, the sun was getting ready to set, and the only sound were the waves crashing. I was simply distracted with my back to Chris taking pictures of the scenery. I turned around to find him down on one knee holding the ring. It was perfect.
