FAQs

The Wedding Website of Aryanne Young and Sana Ullah
This weekend is a little untraditional and a lot intentional. Here are a few answers to help you feel prepared, included, and part of the joy.
Question

Wait... you're eloping? Can we still come?

Answer

Yes! While we’re keeping things small and simple in terms of what we’re hosting, we’d love to have you join us for the parts of the weekend that are open to everyone. Because we’re working with a tight budget, most events—like the spa day, vow ceremony at the lake, and late-night dancing and karaoke at Haydee’s—will be pay-your-own-way, which also means there’s no guest limit. If it sounds fun and you want to be there, we’d love to see you! The only events with a guest cap are the catered meals, but don’t worry—we’re planning a larger wedding celebration in the future with a full guest list, dance floor, and probably way too much dessert. This elopement is just the beginning—and we’re so grateful to have you with us in whatever way you’re able to show up.

Question

Is there going to be a bigger wedding later?

Answer

Yes! We plan to host a larger celebration in the future and would love for you to be part of that. This elopement is the start of our journey—and your support means the world.

Question

The timeline feels fast—what led you to marry now?

Answer

We hear you—and we’ve asked ourselves the same question (with love and honesty). The truth is, everything about this season has felt aligned. Our connection came with clarity, our values matched early, and every step we’ve taken—from long conversations and cultural learning to prayer, therapy, and intention—has only deepened that sense of readiness. Yes, immigration is part of the timing. But it’s not the reason. We believe in divine timing, and this moment felt like the right one to say yes—to God, to growth, and to each other. We're choosing to build our life with faith, purpose, and joy—and we’re so grateful to have your support along the way.

Question

Will everything be covered for guests?

Answer

To honor our limited budget and keep things simple, most activities will be pay-your-own-way, including the spa day and meals at restaurants. Only a small group will be invited to our catered house celebration on Friday evening and to our vow ceremony at the lake—but we promise there will be other joyful moments open to everyone throughout the weekend!

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

If you could RSVP by May 1st that would be greatly appreciated!

Question

Do I need a rental car?

Answer

Yes, we highly recommend renting a car for ease and comfort—especially for travel between spa, nature spots, and evening gatherings

Question

Are gifts expected?

Answer

Nope! Your presence is the greatest gift. If you'd still like to give, we welcome contributions to our honeymoon or future dreams.

Question

What’s the overall vibe of this weekend?

Answer

Intentional joy. Think: nature, storytelling, meaningful conversation, laughter, a few tears, and big love shared in small ways.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Whatever makes you feel good! Our weekend is casual and colorful. Cultural dress, comfort-forward fashion, and your best “dancing under the stars” outfit are all welcome.

Question

Where is everything happening?

Answer

Most events are centered around Lanham, MD and nearby areas like College Park and Chantilly, VA. We'll send detailed addresses and timing after you RSVP.

Question

Can I bring a guest or my kids?

Answer

Yes! Just let us know on the RSVP so we can plan accordingly.

Question

Will there be food and dancing?

Answer

Definitely! Whether it’s over dinner, service, or sunset music, we’ll be celebrating in all the ways that matter.

For all the days along the way
