The first time I met him, it was purely coincidental. We were both attending a small renaissance festival that my uncle had put together. Jasper and his mom Susanna were vendors, my parents and I were patrons while also teaching axe throwing. My step-dad, James, had walked around looking at all the vendors and noticed Jasper sitting there. Afterwards he came back over to my mother and I, to tell me about Jasper and how I should go talk to him. Little did I know he had talked me up to Jasper and his mom before I went to meet them. Then Susanna had talked Jasper into meeting me. I had gone into their booth, and shyly asked if he was Jasper then introduced myself. I remembered thinking he was so cute. We chatted for a little while then I’d walked back to the axe range, glancing ay him throughout the day. After the end of the fair that night, I walked back over to their booth to tell them both goodbye. But then Jasper asked me if I’d like to join him at the pool, that was on the fairgrounds. With the help of Susanna encouraging him to ask. I said yes! I remember that I was so excited that a cute guy has asked me on a date. We went swimming, we hit it off, and the rest is history.
