This pre-wedding ritual involves applying turmeric paste to the bride and groom to bless them with good luck, prosperity, and glowing skin. It's a time for laughter, fun, and lots of yellow! Wear yellow! Feel free to wear casual, comfortable clothes that you don’t mind getting a bit messy, as turmeric can stain: Indian Attire: Ladies can wear simple salwar kameez, churidars, or kurtis. Gentlemen can wear light-colored kurtas or casual outfits. Western Attire: Ladies can opt for casual sundresses or comfortable pants and yellow tops. Gentlemen can choose casual light-colored shirts or polos paired with comfortable pants or shorts.

Choose your own adventure! After lunch at Tijara, we’ll head back to the Gurugram/New Delhi area. Once you check in at your hotel (around 6:00pm), you'll have the rest of the day free to unwind and explore. Gurugram is known for its vibrant shopping malls, similar to New York City, with a variety of international and local brands. The area also boasts an array of fantastic restaurants offering both local Indian flavors and global cuisine. If you're feeling adventurous, take a stroll through the nearby markets or enjoy a relaxing spa experience at your hotel. Whether you choose to rest or explore, you’ll have plenty of time to recharge before the next evening's reception!

You are welcome to explore this and other options through the travel agent - once we have an idea of interest, our travel agent will put together group rates and you can decide to join or not :) Embark on an exciting safari adventure at Ranthambore National Park, one of India’s most celebrated tiger reserves! Located in Rajasthan, this wildlife haven is home to majestic Bengal tigers, leopards, and a variety of other species like deer, sloth bears, and exotic birds. The park’s picturesque landscapes, featuring lush forests and ancient ruins, provide a stunning backdrop for wildlife spotting.
