The Haldi ceremony is all about laughter, blessings, and a little turmeric magic as we shower the couple with love (and yellow!). Expect lighthearted moments, plenty of smiles, and a chance to relax and celebrate together before the big day. What to Wear: Wear YELLOW! It’s the color of the day and symbolizes happiness and good fortune. Indian Attire: Ladies — casual kurtas, salwar sets, or flowy dresses you don’t mind getting a little haldi on. Gentlemen — light kurta pajamas or casual festive wear in shades of yellow or white. Western Attire: Ladies — breezy yellow dresses or comfortable outfits in cheerful tones. Gentlemen — yellow shirts or polos with shorts or chinos

High Tea

4:30 pm

Take a break and indulge in refreshing chai, coffee, and snacks. Trust us, you'll need the energy for the full night ahead!

Sangeet & Cocktails

A vibrant night filled with music, dancing, and beautiful henna art! Expect joyful performances, delicious bites, and plenty of opportunities to hit the dance floor as we celebrate with both our families. What to Wear: Come dressed in your most festive evening attire — think colorful, comfortable, and dance-friendly! Indian Attire: Ladies — lehengas, sarees, or anarkalis in bright colors. Gentlemen — kurta pajamas, casual sherwanis, or any festive Indian look. Western Attire: Ladies — colorful maxi dresses, jumpsuits, or a chic skirt/blouse combo. Gentlemen — smart casual looks like chinos with a button-down, or a relaxed suit (no tie needed!).

Lets make it official! This wedding ceremony emphasizes the importance of equality, mutual respect, and devotion in marriage. It's a deeply spiritual and joyous occasion, filled with prayers, hymns, and blessings from family and friends. Wear colorful and festive formal clothes - PLEASE AVOID RED/MAGENTA/HOT PINK Indian Attire: Ladies can wear elegant lehengas, sarees, or anarkalis in vibrant colors. Gentlemen can opt for sherwanis, kurta pajamas, or stylish bandhgalas. Western Attire: Ladies can choose beautiful evening gowns, cocktail dresses, or festive maxi dresses. Gentlemen can wear suits or tuxedos in light or bold colors, adding a touch of festive flair.

Wedding Day Lunch

After your hearts are filled with joy, fill your belly with a celebratory lunch! Afterwards we'll pack up and head back to Delhi to settle into the new hotel. You will have a free evening and next day to explore shopping and cuisine or relax as you please.

Choose your own adventure! After lunch at Tijara, we’ll head back to the Gurugram/New Delhi area. Once you check in at your hotel (around 6:00pm), you'll have the rest of the day free to unwind and explore. Gurugram is known for its vibrant shopping malls, similar to New York City, with a variety of international and local brands. The area also boasts an array of fantastic restaurants offering both local Indian flavors and global cuisine. If you're feeling adventurous, take a stroll through the nearby markets or enjoy a relaxing spa experience at your hotel. Whether you choose to rest or explore, you’ll have plenty of time to recharge before the next evening's reception!
