Abby and Aru were in the same Bible Study during Aru's senior year of college. However, it wasn't until the last months of school that they got close...and they have been close ever since! They both have a big love for spontaneous adventures, Noah Kahan's music, tennis games, line dancing, breath mints, and eventually (once Abby teaches Aru) snowboarding. Abby has recently graduated from App State with her B.S. in Social Work. She has just graduated in UNC Charlotte with her Master's in Social Work. Since she lives near to Aru, the two of them have been able to connect often and grow in the Lord together!
Jeni Justin

Jeni and Aru have been friends for a LONG time (since middle school) through a program called the "Charlotte Indian Christian Fellowship". Jeni and Aru have many memories with each other including a Carowinds trip (which ended with bad migraines), many "photoshoots" in Indian outfits, ice cream incidents, singing karaoke during New Year's Eve, attempting to learn TikTok dances, and hundreds of late late LATE nights! Jeni is currently working as a Resilience Analyst with ICF to make our communities more disaster, climate, and energy resilient!

Liz and Aru have been good friends for a LONG time! It all started when they started working at Chick-Fil-A in high school and progressed even after Aru left for college! They have stayed connected and always have many giggles together (along with Aru's mom)! Some fun adventures they have had together includes going to a Maverick City concert, many Waverly parking lot sunrise adventures, getting pulled over one time (all Aru's fault), drinking chai with Hemalatha Hopper, going on a mission trip to India, and so many more fun stories! Liz has recently graduated and is currently interning with Carmel Students! She is excited to see what the Lord has in store for her in the nearby future!
Mackenzie Bianco

Mackenzie and Aru have known each other since Aru's first year of college through a girls' Bible Study". One day, Aru told the Bible Study girls of her dream to watch a sunrise so, they immediately connected Aru with Mackenzie (due to Mackenzie's vast knowledge of sunrises)! After that, the rest was history and the two of them would often plan to go watch the sunrise (hence why they refer to each other as "sunrise buddies"). Mackenzie's main job post-grad is working at Mecklenburg County Aquatic Center as a Recreation Assistant for Group Fitness! She also has recently gotten married (wish her a hearty "CONGRATULATIONS" when you see her next)!!
Sam Collard

Sam and Aru became dear friends to each other during Aru's final year of college during a Bible Study. They have been inseparable ever since and have gone on many trips/adventures together! This includes swimming in Trash Can Falls, free Panera runs, watching Disney movies, and MANY late Cookout and Taco Bell trips. Sam has recently graduated from App State with her B.S. in Psychology with a Human Services concentration and also with a minor in Criminal Justice. She is currently staying in Boone, NC to work and see to her next phases of life!
Katelyn Mounce

Katelyn has been a part of all of Aru's college years at App State. However, it wasn't until Aru's senior year that they got close! They eventually hung out all the time and bonded over a lot of inside jokes (including the one where Katelyn gave Aru the famous nickname..."kidnapper"...) Some of their memories together include always taking "aesthetic" pictures, late-night library sessions, and running to an art museum in the rain! Katelyn recently graduated from App State during Fall 2024 with a B.S. in Healthcare Management! She is currently staying in Boone, NC to work and see to her next phases of life!
Luke Ferguson

Luke is Logan's younger brother. Luke and Logan both enjoy playing a video game called "Goober Dash", obsessing over planes and cars, watching horror movies, playing guitar, and wearing the same clothes (because Luke steals Logan's clothing...which Logan does not enjoy...remember they are BROTHERS). Luke is a pilot in his senior year of high school, hoping to pursue a B.S. in Aeronautical Science. His dream is to become an A350 captain at Delta Airlines.
Zach Weaver

Zach and Logan have known each other since 2008 they were in the same homeschooling program together called "CC". Zach and Logan were college suitemates for three years both pursuing the same degree. They share a love for music and got to serve on the worship team at their church. Zach recently graduated with his B.S. in Cybersecurity (Spring 2025). He will then be moving to Huntsville, Alabama where he and Logan will be reunited again through their work.
Brooks Ball

Logan and Brooks met back in 2008 through a homeschool program called "CC". They both got even closer through their time running cross country in high school and time at college as suitemates. Logan and Brooks both enjoy lifting weights, Marvel, and Owen Whitlock (another friend of theirs). Brooks graduated this Spring 2025 with a B.S. in Accounting/Finance
Josiah Bass

Josiah and Logan got close ever since they were in the same small group at Carmel Baptist Church during their 11th-grade year of high school. They both also spent a lot of time at the church together since they were involved in a student ministry program called MidWeek. They also got closer when Josiah, Sav, Logan, and Aru would hang out after MidWeek at a Chick-fil-A nearby. Josiah and Logan both share a love for backpacking, skiing, cars, music, and bickering (with each other). Josiah is a graduate of N.C. State and is now working as a computer hardware engineer.
Elijah Knudson

Elijah and Logan first met when Logan and his family moved to Carmel Baptist Church. Elijah and Logan were in the same small group during their 11th-grade year of high school. They have gotten close ever since and have bonded over their love for cars, cats, traveling, and skiing (mostly watching Josiah fly and fall down a mountain). Elijah graduated from Liberty with a B.S. in Aeronautical Science. He is now working as an aircraft mechanic for Davinci Jets.
