Our friendship started in Math class at Central Virginia Community College (CVCC) when we sat next to each other on the first day of class. Jazmine was much better at Math than I was so I was thankful I had her there to help out.

Our friendship began somewhere between late Elementary School and Middle School. The majority of my life, Kiara has always been there. Some of the earliest memories of our friendship consist of busting a move on the Cafeteria "dance floor" at the Middle Dances and playing recreational Softball together.

Taylor and I met each other through mutual friends at a Christmas party when I was a senior in High School. Instantly, I felt like we were always meant to be best friends. Ever since she has been the Hannah Montana to my Miley Cyrus (as we've joked about being our nicknames).

In High School we become friends when Haylee moved to Altavista through being in FBLA club and cheerleading together. Throughout the years our friendship has continued to grow into being like family.

Rafaela and I met through clinicals in Nursing School at Bedford Memorial Hospital. Our clinical instructor was pretty strict on us staying busy the whole time so maybe it trauma bonded us together. Since graduating nursing school she has had the fun of putting up with both Arron and I's craziness with being my roommate.

I also met Caroline through Nursing School at Liberty but actually by Arron introducing me to her since they went to High School together. Thankfully in the last few semesters at Liberty we had classes together that we got closer in.

Katelyn is one of my third cousins but we have always felt like we were closer kin. Our grandmothers were first cousins but acted more like sisters, as they were roommates as young girls before getting married. My nana used to say that Katelyn and her sister Hannah were her first girls, as she considered them her bonus grand-daughters. I looked up to Katelyn growing up as she was always so successful, from Volleyball to getting her Masters Degree. Now our friendship has grown more with age as I am not just "Baby Lauren," anymore lol!

Reese and I met our first semester of Nursing School when we were in Health Assessment together. We learned how to assess the different body systems together, which was probably the most awkward part of school. I can't imagine nursing school without meeting her!
