Why did I receive an invitation to one celebration but not another?

Answer

We’re celebrating our marriage twice! Our wedding will take place in Mexico and is an intentionally small gathering for our closest friends and immediate family. The following year, we’ll be hosting a larger reception in Austin so we can celebrate with more of the people we love. Each event is meaningful to us, and we’re grateful for your understanding as we navigate capacity, travel, and logistics.

Can I bring a plus-one?

Due to space limitations, we’re only able to accommodate guests listed on the invitation unless otherwise indicated on your invitation. Thank you for understanding!

As much as we adore your little humans, this will be an adults-only celebration unless your invitation says otherwise.

What's the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Think polished and celebratory — suits, dressy jumpsuits, midi/maxi dresses, heels if you love them, chic flats if you don’t. We’re leaning into the occasion, so this is your excuse to get a little dressed up.

Is the ceremony unplugged?

Answer

Yes — completely unplugged. As a photographer, this means a lot to Erin. We’ve intentionally chosen professionals to capture these moments so you can be fully present with us instead of watching through a screen. During the ceremony, we ask that phones stay tucked away and cameras remain off. Once the party begins, take all the photos you want. 📸

Can I take photos at the reception?

Please do!! Document the dance floor chaos, the hugs, the happy tears — we love seeing the day through your eyes. Just please be mindful of our photography team and avoid stepping into key moments.
