FAQs

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask all guests to RSVP by November 16, 2025. We can't wait to celebrate with you!

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes! A 30-passenger shuttle will run between Estes Park Resort and Black Canyon Boulders on February 5, 2026. Departures from Estes Park Resort: 2:00 PM, 2:20 PM, 2:40 PM (Approx. 7-minute drive — please board 5–10 minutes early) Return Shuttles: 7:00 PM – 9:30 PM (continuous service)

Question

Are children welcome at the wedding?

Answer

While we adore all the little ones in our lives, we are only including children from our immediate families in our celebration. If this impacts your ability to attend, please don’t hesitate to reach out to Nick or me—we completely understand and would love to help in any way we can!

Question

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes! We highly recommend staying at The Estes Park Resort, either in the hotel or one of their cozy cabins. It’s a beautiful resort with stunning mountain and lake views—the perfect place to relax and enjoy the weekend. This is also where we’ll be staying, and where the welcome cocktail party will take place—we’d love for you to join us!

Question

What’s the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

Our dress code is Mountain Formal—elevated, yet comfortable for an outdoor setting. Think dress shirts, slacks, dresses, or dressy jumpsuits. We’d love for everyone to embrace the spirit of the occasion with polished attire that still feels relaxed enough for the mountains. And don’t forget to bring a jacket or wrap—mountain evenings can get chilly!

Question

What’s the best way to get to Estes Park?

Answer

The closest airport to Estes Park is Denver International Airport (DIA). From there, it’s about a 1.5-hour scenic drive through the foothills and into the mountains. Many visitors choose to rent a car and drive from DIA, while others opt for a road trip and drive in from surrounding states to take in more of Colorado’s stunning landscapes along the way.

Question

What should we do in Estes Park when we’re not at wedding events?

Answer

Explore Rocky Mountain National Park, take a scenic hike, visit downtown Estes for local shops, or enjoy a cozy coffee with mountain views.

Question

What is the dress code for the Welcome Party?

Answer

Think cocktail attire / mountain chic / fancy western. We recommend elevated yet comfortable outfits with a western flair — cocktail dresses or dressy jumpsuits, or slacks and a blouse for women, and slacks with a button-down or blazer for men. Boots or heels are great, cowboy hats are welcome but totally optional. Feel free to add your own western touches. The welcome party is indoors, but since it’s a Colorado evening, we encourage bringing a jacket, fur coat, wrap, or coat.

Question

Are there any altitude tips we should know?

Answer

Yes! Estes Park sits at about 7,500 feet above sea level. Stay hydrated, avoid excessive alcohol on your first day, and take it easy if you feel lightheaded.

Question

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held indoors with breathtaking mountain views, and the reception will take place inside, ensuring a cozy and stylish celebration. Weather permitting, we’ll have an outdoor option for cocktail hour.

Question

What time should we arrive?

Answer

Please plan to arrive at least 30 minutes before the ceremony starts to ensure everyone is seated and settled.

Question

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’d love for everyone to be present in the moment, so we kindly ask for an unplugged ceremony—but feel free to snap away during the reception!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We’re so excited to celebrate with our closest friends and family! If a plus-one was included on your invitation, we would love for them to join us. If you have any questions, feel free to reach out!
