We met on a dating app during the pandemic, when everything felt uncertain and meeting new people wasn’t exactly easy. Since almost everything was closed, we ended up at the only breakfast place open near us, Southern Cafe. We spent hours there, just talking over some pancakes when we started to build a connection. The next year was a journey. We faced some really tough times together, but we leaned on each other and grew stronger through it all. In 2021, we welcomed our dog Bones into our lives and he quickly became a huge part of our story. In 2023, we took the next big step and moved in together, and spent the year DIY-ing our home with love. Then, in March of 2024, Jacob proposed during a morning hike in the Smoky Mountains (one of our favorite places!). Now, we’re so excited to plan our wedding lakeside, where we truly love spending most of our summers. It feels like the perfect place to celebrate everything we’ve built together.
