WHY VIRGINIA?
When we imagined our wedding day, we knew we wanted a place that held meaning and heart. That place is Virginia.
It’s where my husband grew up—where his story began, surrounded by the people he love and places that shaped the person I fell in love with. Being here feels like coming home, not just for him, but for both of us now.
And then there are the mountains. The Blue Ridge stole my heart the moment I saw them. From afar, they seem wrapped in a soft blue haze—as if nature itself decided to paint the sky into the land. That magical color comes from the trees releasing tiny natural oils that mix with sunlight and air, creating the blue mist that gives the mountains their name.
There’s something timeless and peaceful about this place. It’s quiet, beautiful, and full of heart—everything we want our love to be. That’s why we chose Virginia.
