Welcome Dinner & Mehndi

7:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Villa Armonía Luxury Boutique
5710 Carretera a Barra de Navidad, Boca de Tomatlán, Jal. 48292, Mexico

Attire: Shades of green. Semi-formal (e.g., flowy dresses or palazzo sets for ladies and collared shirts or indowestern set for men).

We want to welcome everyone to beautiful Puerto Vallarta with a fun and relaxed dinner. We understand that everyone will be traveling and getting settled on Saturday so please be comfortable. We will also have henna artists ready to adorn your hands if you so wish. Expect a night filled with music, laughter, and excitement for the upcoming celebrations as we create memories (and henna stains!) that will last long after the festivities end. Mehendi isn't just about the gorgeous patterns, though - it's believed the darker the henna, the stronger the love between the couple!

Haldi

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Attire: Shades of yellow. Lightweight, comfortable clothing (e.g., salwar kameez or lenghas for women and linen shirts or kurtas for men). You might get wet!

The Haldi ceremony is all about blessing the bride and groom with purity and prosperity before the big day! Turmeric paste (*haldi*) is applied to the couple by family and friends, symbolizing cleansing, good luck, and a radiant glow. But it's not all tradition - things can get a little playful as everyone joins in to spread joy (and a little extra haldi!). So expect lots of laughter, yellow hands and a glowing start to the wedding celebrations (and maybe some water guns)!

Sangeet/Garba

Sun, Nov 23, 2025, 6:00 pm - Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 12:00 am

Attire: Bright vibrant colors. Bring your Indian festive best! Ladies, go for lehengas or sarees, and gents, rock your best kurtas. Think colorful, fun, and ready to dance the night away in style!

The Sangeet is a night for the bride and groom's families to unite in song and dance, symbolizing the blending of two families. Expect a hearty Gujarati meal, (very) off-bollywood performances, spontaneous dance-offs, fun games and traditional Garba - don't worry we'll have lessons as Arjun doesn't know how to do it either! P.S. If you want to perform, let us know!

Baarat & Wedding Ceremony

11:00 am - 2:00 pm

Attire: Pastels. Indian Formal (e.g., sari or lenghas for ladies and sherwani or nehru jackets for men).

The big event! A Hindu wedding isn't just a ceremony - it's a journey filled with rituals that have deep spiritual significance. The highlight is the *pheras* where Prachi and Arjun will circle the holy fire seven times, each step symbolizing a vow for a happy and balanced life together. The *mangal sutra* will be tied, sealing our bond, and blessings will be showered for health, prosperity, and lifelong companionship. Get ready to witness ancient customs infused with joy, laughter, and a touch of the modern flair.

Reception

Mon, Nov 24, 2025, 7:00 pm - Tue, Nov 25, 2025, 12:00 am

Attire: Black or dark colors. Indian or western formal (e.g., sari or dresses for ladies and tuxedos or bandh galas for men). No white or light colors please!

The last hurrah! Watch Arjun and Prachi take the dance floor for the first time as a married couple. Eat, drink, and be merry - make sure you are ready to dance and party the night away.
