Dress code- Cocktail/ Formal Attire: Suits, cocktail dresses, and dressy jumpsuits are welcome, as are tuxedos and floor-length dresses.
Unlike a more traditional seated reception, New Orleans wedding receptions are cocktail style, which means there is no assigned seating and you’re free to grab any open seat. New Orleans receptions are typically not seated dinners, but consist of passed hors d'oeuvres, open action stations, and buffets. This allows for an emphasis on a variety of food options, lots of beverages, and a highly dynamic and social atmosphere that allows guests to move freely about the reception space. Seating is left open for guests to choose their own seats and tables. The bride and groom have their first dance near the beginning of their reception, opening the dance floor immediately for the guests' enjoyment. Please note, we kindly ask that you bring only people named on your invitation. If no additional name is mentioned, we regretfully cannot accommodate extra guests due to space limitations. Please also note that the wedding will be an adults-only affair. We appreciate your understanding.
