Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by May 9th. We won’t be reaching out for missing responses, and late RSVPs may not be able to be added. Make sure to RSVP for all of the events you may invited to (the ceremony RSVP is separate from the reception RSVP). We hope to celebrate with you!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please arrive 15 minutes before the ceremony begins to allow time for parking and seating. We will have a Welcome Steward who will also serve as The Gatekeeper. ANYONE WHO ARRIVES AFTER THE PROCESSIONAL HAS STARTED, WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE CEREMONY UNTIL AFTER THE FULL BRIDAL PARTY ENTERS AND HAS BEEN SEATED.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, complimentary onsite parking is available for all guests.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Garden Attire — Celebrate with us in soft, romantic, nature-inspired looks. Think florals, flowing fabrics, pastels, linens, and elevated outdoor elegance. Comfortable shoes for walking on grass are encouraged.

Question

How will I know if I am invited to the reception?

Answer

Your invitation and the RSVP section of our Zola site will show which events you are included in. If the reception appears when you enter your name on the RSVP page, you’re warmly invited to join us in the celebration afterward.

Question

What should I do during cocktail hour?

Answer

For those invited to the reception, enjoy filling out the guestbook, check out the cash bar, and have fun mingling while we take family portraits.

Question

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to venue capacity, only guests who have a plus-one listed on their invitation will be able to bring one. IF YOU BRING A PLUS ONE, YOUR EXTRA GUEST WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER.

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones, but this will be an adults-only celebration, unless otherwise specified. YOU WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO ENTER THE CEREMONY/RECEPTION IF YOUR CHILD IS PRESENT.

Question

Can you accommodate dietary restrictions?

Answer

Absolutely. Please note any allergies or dietary needs when you RSVP so our catering team can plan accordingly.

Question

Is the ceremony & reception indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony is outdoors with a tent on standby in case of inclement whether. The reception is indoors.

Question

What’s the weather like in Taneytown in June?

Answer

Typically warm and sunny, with evening temperatures in the mid-70s. We recommend bringing a light layer if you tend to get chilly.

Question

What if I need to change my RSVP from a “Yes” to a “No”?

Answer

No worries at all! You can update your RSVP directly on our Zola site by returning to the RSVP tab and entering your name exactly as it appears on your invitation. ONCE YOU RSVP FROM YES TO NO FOR THE RECEPTION, THIS CANNOT BE CHANGED. *A gentle reminder: We pay for each seat in advance. If you RSVP yes and don’t show up, our hearts (and our budget) will feel it deeply.*

Question

Can we take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We prefer an unplugged ceremony so everyone can truly be present. However, we understand wanting to capture all of the beautiful ceremonial moments. Guests are welcome to scan the QR code on their Ceremony cards to receive a video of the processional. Phones and cameras may be used during the reception.

Question

Is a gift required?

Answer

Your presence is truly the best gift. But if you feel moved to give something, our registry offers options we’ll cherish.

Question

Where can I find your registry?

Answer

Our full registry is available right here on our Zola website. Simply click the “Registry” tab at the top of the page to view all gift options in one place. Zola will walk you through everything safely and easily—no outside links needed.

Question

Will there be alcohol?

Answer

Yes—there will be a cash bar during cocktail hour and throughout the evening. Each guest will be offered one complimentary flute of champagne.

Question

What airport should I fly into?

Answer

BWI (Baltimore/Washington International) is the closest major airport—about 1 hour from the venue. Two alternative options are: Reagan National Airport (DCA): ~1 hr 15 min Dulles International (IAD): ~1 hr 20 min BWI is typically the easiest and most convenient.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

In order for all guests to travel at their own pace, we won’t be providing group transportation. The venue offers plenty of onsite parking for all guests. Please plan the travel option that’s most comfortable for you. We’ve also shared recommended local accommodations located under the Home Away From Home tab to make the trip to the beautiful Taneytown as smooth as possible. Rideshare options (Uber/Lyft) may be limited in rural areas, so we recommend driving or carpooling with other guests when possible. Out of town guests may also consider carpooling or even renting a car.

Question

Do you have any lodging recommendations?

Answer

There are several hotel and Airbnb options within 10–20 minutes of the venue. Some popular nearby areas to consider are: Taneytown, MD – closest to the venue Gettysburg, PA – charming, historic town with many lodging choices Westminster, MD – traditional hotel options If you’d like recommendations, we’ve listed popular stays on our Travel page.
