Old Sturbridge Village
A trip to Old Sturbridge Village, one of the country's oldest and largest living history museums, is a journey through time to a rural New England community of the 1830’s. Visitors are invited into a historical landscape of 40 restored antique buildings, three authentic water-powered mills, two covered bridges, and a working farm with 60 farm animals set among 200 acres of pristine woods and fields. There are demonstrations of pottery, blacksmithing, spinning and weaving, shoemaking, tinning, coopering, hearth cooking, quilting, and bookbinding. Authentically costumed staff, called history interpreters, carry out the daily activities of an early 19th century community.
The Big E
The Big E is billed as "New England's Great State Fair". It is the largest agricultural event on the eastern seaboard and the seventh-largest fair in the nation. The Big E is inclusive of all six of the New England states: Connecticut, Maine, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, and Vermont. Each of the New England states is prominently represented at the fair. There are rides, games, shows, food, it has it all! The fair runs from September 14th-30th.
EcoTarium
The EcoTarium is a family-friendly, indoor-outdoor museum located in Worcester, Massachusetts. We offer three floors of interactive exhibits, exciting shows in the digital planetarium, daily Science Discovery programs, live animal habitats, hikes through forest and meadow nature trails, outdoor imaginative play, and a train ride around the grounds (seasonal).
Tower Hill Botanic Garden
As New England’s year-round botanic garden, we hope to engage you in our life-long passion for growing plants for their ornamental, economic, and ecologic value. Arielle and Ben love the Tower Hill Botanic Gardens and it was one of their first dates!
Crystal Caves-Family Entertainment
Established in 1995, Crystal Caves is the family fun destination in central Massachusetts. With 18 holes of mini golf, 8 batting cages, 2 trampolines, the 'Gyro', and a full service ice cream parlor serving over 50 flavors, made on site, you can be sure to find something to like.
Wells State Park
More than 10 miles of trails cross the property, which are for hiking only; off-road vehicles may not be used. A popular route leads to the scenic vista at Carpenter Rocks from which the eastern section and Walker Pond can be viewed. Wells is only five miles by car from Old Sturbridge Village, a nationally-renowned living history museum of New England village life in and around 1800.

This is where Ben and Arielle first met and went on their first date!

Come visit where the legends play! Go shopping, dine out, head to a movie or visit the Pro Shop and the Patriots Hall of Fame. This is right by where Ben and Arielle live and frequently shop here!
