Hiking: The Potomac Heritage Trail runs along the back of the Landsdowne Resort property and provides easy hiking and beautiful views of the Potomac River. For a greater challenge on Sunday, try the beautiful 6 mile hike on the Appalachian Trail to Raven Rock starting in nearby Bluemont, VA. 

Civil War History : Take a car/uber  to tour some of Loudon's local Civil War sites on Saturday morning or Sunday. Historic Harper's Ferry is also only a half hour from Leesburg

Wineries, Breweries and Distilleries: The nation's first wines were produced in Virginia over 400 years ago, and today our state ranks fifth in the country among wine grape-growing states.  There are also over 30 craft breweries in Loudon and several local distilleries. Ask at your hotel for a Trail map.
