When should I RSVP?

Answer

If you already know your plans for August 3rd, please RSVP on our wedding website as soon as you receive the Save the Date! You will also receive an RSVP card with the actual wedding invite a couple months before the wedding. Please return it as well.

Do I need to rent a car?

Answer

No need! Our hotels are a short uber/taxi ride from Dulles airport and we will provide shuttles from the designated hotels to wedding-related activities. See our section on Things to Do for Saturday activity ideas which may require a car or Uber before the wedding.

What do I wear?

Answer

Cocktail attire. But remember, it's August in the D.C. area-- WELCOME TO THE SWAMP and dress accordingly. Ladies! High heels may sink in the grass. We'd recommend wearing flats, wedges or block heels.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Please! We don't want you to die at our wedding!

How do I get a space on the shuttle to Blue Hill?

Answer

Shuttles leave promptly at 4:30. Get there EARLY. Plan on catching a ride from either Landsdowne or Homewood Suites/Hampton Inn (Hampton Inn guests walk next door to use this shuttle) for Blue Hill Farm. Return shuttles will leave Blue Hill at the end of the evening.
