We're Getting Married!

Our love story began way back in 2011. We first crossed paths at summer camp the summer before 9th grade. (For photos of the special awkwardness that was us at 14, scroll to the bottom of this page). For the next few years, we crossed paths occasionally and we were close friends. In 2017, Ariel spent a semester in Hong Kong and Keenan sent her a message to see how she was doing. On December 27th, 2017, we went dancing at the Mercury Cafe. The date went well, and we've been pretty infatuated ever since. Ten years to the very day we met, we're going to promise to stick together forever. We're so excited to celebrate with you!

We chose July 17th because it is exactly ten years to the day we met. We're so excited to celebrate, and we can't wait to start our marriage surrounded by our friends and family.

Ah, love in the time of COVID. Keenan proposed on August 7th. Ariel said yes right away (to no ones surprise, since she knew he was in possession of the ring and it was driving her slowly mad.). He proposed with Ariel's sister and parents watching, and didn't get to finish speaking before Ariel said yes.
