Meet our families!

Bee Colvais

Bride

Ariel Martinez

Bride

Debi Colvais

Mother of the Bride

Debi grew up moving all over as a military brat before settling in Oak Ridge, TN to raise her family. She taught Abby to value experiences over things, to prioritize family (including found family), and to embrace our true selves in spite of what the world may say. She is an incredibly generous person who spent Abby's childhood volunteering for allllll the things- now that she's retired from expert school volunteer, ask her about her favorite musicians, reccs for a good IPA, or challenge her to a board game if you're ready to lose!

Raquel Santiago-Martinez

Mother of the Bride

She might not be the tallest of stature, but Raquel Santiago-Martinez is an undeniably huge personality. Her many experiences in the banking and business worlds never took away from her generous heart and involvement with Ari's many extracurriculars. And through all that, she still manages to read more books than thought humanly possible! Raquel provided the blueprint for the independent, intelligent, opinionated, and kind person that Ariel is today.

Francis Colvais

Father of the Bride

Growing up, Francis was the dad who would let his daughters paint his nails, but also teach them how to put together intricate lego sets, play with action figures, and read his old comic books (very very carefully). Francis is a lover of the outdoors- be it back-packing, biking, running, you name it! He enjoys breweries, the newest Marvel movie/show and spending time with his family. Ask him about any sports at Florida State (FSU) or the latest tech inventions (especially in cars!).

George Martinez

Father of the Bride

George loves his motorcycle, fishing, and nights where he can manage to get the remote from Raquel! He loves his family more than anything, and he is always there for the people he cares about. He taught Ari how to change a tire and that when you mix up all your leftovers, you can call it jambalaya. His patience and humor make him the life of the party... if you can get him to show up.
