Flight
RIC is about 10 miles outside of the city. As a small airport, it is a breeze to fly into and out of, although you'll likely have to connect in another city.
Train
Richmond has 2 train stations - Main Street Station downtown and Staples Mill Rd Station just outside of the city. Make sure you know which one you're arriving/departing!
