2009 - Ariel & Nathan meet in the dry storage walk in of a TGI Friday's in Mechanicsburg, PA. Neither of them wore flare. 2010 (Summertime) - Home from college, Ariel & Nathan get to know each other over games of wiffleball, night hikes, and campfires. August 10, 2010 - The first date: a movie (The Good Guys...Ariel talked the whole time) and a diner. 2011 - Ariel & Nathan, the college year. Nathan visits as often as possible. 2013 - Ariel graduates college, goes on her first tour, then returns to Harrisburg, PA. A "let's meet for drinks" marks the beginning of the rest of their forever story. But then Ariel moves to RVA... March 2014 - Nathan moves to RVA to join Ariel. She has to live with a boy!! 2015 - Movie nights, exploring the city, learning each other's quirks, and lots of love. 2016 - They move to the 1816 Loft. The Loft Crew assembles. 2017 - Ariel is on tour. Nathan holds down the fort. Long distance dating is very real. 2018 - They get an apartment with windows. Dohany (the pup) approves. August, 2018 - Ariel returns to RVA to give office life a try. November 17, 2018 - THEY GET ENGAGED! Food and music and drinks and a gold band marks the occasion. Ariel leaves for a company retreat 12 hours later where the engagement is announced by her boss in front of the whole company from a stage. All coworkers know before any friends or family. Whoops. Holidays 2018 - The couple tells everyone they know to great excitement, congratulations, and hugs. 2019 - RVA life is filled with friends, music, and days at the James River...until Ariel goes back out on tour. December 8, 2019 - Best game of putt putt golf ever. Nathan gets down on one knee once again with a beautiful diamond ring, close friends, and champagne toasts fireside. Ariel is 100% surprised and, of course, says yes again! 2020 - Who can even tell. Has it been 6 months, a week, or 2 years? Your guess is as good as theirs. But they're making the best of it!
