Married on June 4th, 2025

We met in early 2020, just before Covid started. While it was a potentially silly decision, we decided to quaratine together for lockdown, and found out that we actually do like each other. We moved in together more officially in December of 2021, and quickly brought Glenn's favorite menace over from the states (Riker). We both fought to propose in December of 2023 (technically, Glenn won) and decided to stay in the UK after Arie finished vet school. We got married legally on June 4th, 2025 at Edinburgh City Chambers with some of our family in attendence.

As our legal ceremony was smaller, and simple, and totally not expedited for visa purposes, we decided to make some wedding bands. Our bands were made from shrinky-dinks, and are decorated with tattoos that we plan to get (eventually) as a his-and-hers couple tattoo. Shrinky-dinks are unfortunately not very sturdy, and so we paln to replace these with more permanent bands at our ceremony.
