Matron of Honor
Seana and I go way back! You could say that we first "met" in our church's 3-year-old Sunday school class and have been besties ever since. From high school cheerleading, summer days spent on the lake, late night sleepovers, to weddings, and babies, we've been through life's biggest and most exciting moments together! Seana is so artistic and creative, so I knew I could count on her when it came time for a wedding hashtag. It's safe to say that Seana knows me better than anyone and I am so honored to have her stand by my side on the big day!
Best Man
Elliott and I have been best friends for as long as I can remember. From the days of rollerblade basketball in the driveway to cruising the streets in his "Fox Mobile" with the glow-in-the-dark rims, we have made some great memories together. He has always been an incredibly loyal friend and I know I can count on him for a glass of bourbon and a good laugh. He's an honest man, but only believe half of what he says about me in his best man speech!
Bridesmaid
Carrie and I became fast friends during our freshman year of high school when we were on the cheerleading squad together. Funny story - WAY too many people thought that Carrie, Seana, and I were triplets! Since then, we have created countless memories and have been through life's ups and downs together. Carrie is one of the most loyal people I know and is one of my biggest confidants. She is always down for a good time and I have no doubt that she will be one of the first ones out on the dance floor!
Groomsman
Derek and I met back in 2013 while I was living in downtown Richmond. We quickly became good friends while bonding over beer, motorcycles, and guns. Our shenanigans brought us closer together and over the years we have become great golfing buddies. I always look forward to our annual golf trips to Michigan with the boys and the Waste Management Open in Arizona. Derek is one of my closest friends and we are looking forward to having him as part of our wedding party.
Bridesmaid
Abbey is one of Josh's younger sisters and is one of the most caring people I know! She has such a good heart and has always been one of mine and Josh's biggest supporters! I know that we can always count on her! I can't wait for her to "officially" be my sister on May 9th!
Groomsman
I met Kyle on the soccer field back in the day when we were young enough to play without getting injured. Now we are old and fragile, so golfing is about the only thing we can handle. He is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet and he never has a bad word to say about anyone or anything. I truly appreciate his friendship and I am grateful that he will be able to be a part of our special day.
Bridesmaid
Alyssa is Josh's baby sister and a fellow ICU nurse. We became close as we bonded over all "things" nursing; trust me you probably don't want to know what those are! Alyssa has always welcomed me into the family and I can't wait to gain not one, but two sisters on our wedding day! I'm positive that we will make life-long memories together in the years to come!
Groomsman
Growing up with an older brother was tough! We were best friends at times and worst enemies at others. It was always great having someone to play games with or to compete against in sports. The last wedding we were in together he fish-hooked me so he could catch the garter. Now I know who to aim for on May 9th!
Ring Bearer
Scout is our 3-year-old chocolate lab, also known as, our first-born baby! He is the sweetest, most obedient, and gentle dog we will probably ever have in our lives. Some of his favorite things include water, ice cream, chasing squirrels/bunnies/lizards, and cuddling when he is sleepy. Scout is one photogenic dog; he even made his own instagram (@scout_thechocolab)! He is a big piece of our heart and we could not imagine having our big day without him!
Honor Attendant
Addie is my oldest, younger cousin and is one of the funniest people I know. She has always been a tough little fighter ever since the day she was born and she has grown up into a beautiful, young lady. She's a busy girl these days between preparing to get her driver's license to playing travel soccer. Maybe one day you can see her play in the World Cup, but until then we can't wait for her to be a part of our special day!
Honor Attendant
Alexis is another one of my younger cousins and she shares my love of all things UNC Tar Heels, much to her dad's disappointment. I have had the honor of watching her grow up to be such a smart and kind-hearted young woman. Alexis and I enjoy spending Sunday lunch at our grandmother's house; thank goodness Alexis learned how to make the homemade gravy! Be sure to wish her a happy birthday on our wedding night because she will celebrate her Sweet 16 the very next day!
Honor Attendant
Samantha is my youngest cousin and has such a sweet soul! She just started her freshman year of high school and stays busy with volleyball and the marching band. She is a very motivated young lady and wants to be a forensic scientist one day! Samantha is also one of Scout's favorite babysitters and we know he is in good hands when he stays with the Hawns!
