What is the address to the wedding venue?

The Lakehouse. 550 Monponsett St, Halifax, MA 02338. There is free on-site parking to anyone who is driving there.

What’s the dress code?

Answer

We kindly ask guests to join us in formal attire. For women, this typically means long evening gowns or elegant cocktail dresses. For men, a suit and tie or a tuxedo is appropriate. Think elevated, classic, and polished—perfect for celebrating a special evening together. Our bridesmaids will be wearing dusty blue, and we kindly ask guests to avoid white, ivory, cream, or similar light shades, as those colors are reserved for the bride.

Can we bring our kids?

We love your little ones, but we’re keeping our wedding an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let loose, and enjoy the evening with us. Thank you for understanding!

We’d love to celebrate with everyone, but our guest list is limited to those listed on your invitation.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We’ll have a quick 30-second photo window at the start of the ceremony where you’re welcome to take as many pictures as you’d like! After that, we kindly ask everyone to put their phones away and be fully present with us as we say “I do.”

What time should I arrive?

We recommend arriving about 30 minutes before the ceremony, which begins promptly at 5:00 PM, to get settled and find your seat. If you arrive after the ceremony has started, you’ll be kindly escorted inside so the ceremony can remain uninterrupted.

Will the wedding be indoors or outdoors?

Answer

Both! Our afternoon ceremony will be outdoors, while cocktail hour and the reception will take place indoors. Guests will walk to the courtyard on paved pathways, but will need to step on grass briefly to take their seats.

What's the best airport to use?

Answer

The closest airport would be Boston Logan International Airport. Providence TF Green is the second best option.
