We met during college while working at American Eagle. What began as casual coworker chatter quickly blossomed into a lasting friendship—fueled by late-night shifts and countless shared glances across the store. Even when she became a manager at a different location and hired me, the shift in roles only deepened our bond. Somehow, we always found a natural rhythm with each other. As our friendship evolved, so did our adventures. From spontaneous beach days to late-night drives, we created memories that turned into something more. Our connection was never just about shared time—it was about how we saw the world, and how we made even the simplest moments feel extraordinary.
As we grew into our adult lives, so did our love of exploring together. Traveling became our way of deepening our relationship—each trip, a new chapter in our story. Then came Cancun. In November, we visited Hotel Xcaret and instantly fell in love with the natural beauty, adventure, and spirit of the place. Swimming in cenotes, exploring the jungle, and just being together—it was magic. That’s when the dream was born: “What if we got married here?” Soon after, I planned a proposal in a place close to my heart—San Diego. As the sun set on one of our favorite beaches, I asked the biggest question of my life and asked her to marry me. She said yes, and our next adventure began.
Today, we’re partners in every sense—navigating busy careers while staying rooted in love and support. We’ve grown together through every high and low, and now, we’re ready for our biggest celebration yet. Returning to Cancun, the place where our dream began, feels like coming full circle. Our wedding at Xcaret is more than just a celebration; it’s a symbol of everything we’ve built, dreamed, and shared. To our family and friends: thank you for being part of this moment. Your presence means everything, and we hope you fall in love with this place, just like we did.
