One of two main markets in Montreal. It's smaller, but charming. When Melissa saw Ari discuss the perils of 21st century farming practices with the vendors here, she fell in love. Also, eat your food by the river right behind the market.

Fairmount Bagel

Boiled in honey infused water, they're the best in Montreal. Except for St. Viateur Bagels; they're also the best. Ask for one from the oven.

Old-Montreal has so many things to see and do, but if you find yourself a bit short on time, a walk along this area is a great option to cram in as much of the famous European atmosphere of Montreal. There are tons of restaurants, bars, and art galleries along the way for your enjoyment.

Great place to start off your journey. It’s a beautiful walk or bus ride and entirely free of charge. The Belvedere observatory offers amazing views of downtown Montreal and the mountains over on the south bank.
