Some of our other favorites in the area include: Castello di Ama, Fattoria di Felsina, Fontodi, Badia e Coltibuono, Fontodi, Isole e Olena. A little further away (1.5hrs) are the towns of Montepulciano and Montalcino.

Il Palio

The Palio is on July 2 in Siena. The town comes together for horse races in the center of Siena in the main piazza.

Perhaps the best steak in the area. Great for dinner, need a reservation. Best to ask for outdoor seating.

Excellent food, wine is the standout. Perfect spot for lunch.

The Mall is home to many of the most famous luxury brands: Prada, Armani, Ferragamo, Tom Ford, Brioni, Gucci, Fendi, Tods. Some great deal are to be found. About an hour away from Fonte de Medici.
