This winery is a little bit of a drive but the view is WORTH IT. Bluemont is one of our favorite spots in the area and their food is great too!

National Mall

National Mall

Washington, DC

Come explore the nation's capitol! Top spots for first time visitors are the National Mall & Smithsonian Museums. Greg's favorite museum is American History Museum, and Ari loves the Hirschhorn Gallery. If you're trying to get your steps in, take a tour of the national monuments (and pack some water!).

City Cruises Water Taxi

City Cruises Water Taxi

3 Cameron Street, Alexandria, VA 22314
, (571) 475-8364

The Potomac water taxi connects Old Town Alexandria to the Wharf, Georgetown, and National Harbor. Its a great way to cool off on a hot day, plus its a lot of fun to hop on and see DC from the water. Start out in Old Town Alexandria. Walk up and down King Street's cobblestone sidewalks and enjoy some ice cream at Pop's, or check out some local artists at the Torpedo Factory! If you've never been to the area and love to shop (or can't get enough of cobblestone sidewalks), Georgetown is worth a visit. While in Georgetown, sit down for some scrumptious Italian food and take in the over the top décor at Filomena. If waterside dining floats your boat, check out the Wharf. We recommend Kaliwa for dinner and 12 Stories Rooftop bar for a drink with a view.

International Spy Museum

International Spy Museum

700 L'Enfant Plaza Southwest, Washington, DC 20024
, (202) 393-7798

Fun for adults and kids alike! Jump into the history of spies and espionage through the ages.
