The Wedding Website of Ari Hershey and Chris Dally
We feel so incredibly lucky that you’re making the trek to the Southwest. For those looking to add some additional days to explore, we highly suggest Santa Fe, Taos, Ghost Ranch, Bandelier National Monument and the surrounding areas. If you'd like recommendations we're happy to send you some or ask us for Stu Hershey's comprehensive travel guide (it's real). In addition to ensuring you sample New Mexico’s famed green Chile, Stu would like you to keep in mind that we’re a mile high in Albuquerque, so drink lots of water!

Flight

Albuquerque Airport (ABQ)

We suggest flying in and out of the Albuquerque airport (called Albuquerque International Sunport). It's a 20-minute drive from Los Poblanos. Car rental shuttles provide free transportation between the terminal building and the Car Rental Center. Shuttles run every 5 minutes from the commercial lane located outside the 1st level of the airport terminal building. It's also possible to take an Uber from the airport to where you are staying in Albuquerque. Expect to pay around $20 each way.

Hotel

Hotel Chaco

2000 Bellamah Avenue Northwest
Albuquerque, NM 87104
 (505) 246-9989

Hotel Chaco is our favorite hotel option in Albuquerque not named Los Poblanos and it's located right next door to the Friday night Welcome Party. The hotel is a 7-minute drive to Los Poblanos and it’s also walkable to Historic Old Town. Super cool vibe, modern layout, sunny pool, and nice views of the Sandia Mountains from their rooftop bar. No joke, John Stamos, The Beach Boys and Tom Hanks’s crew were all staying here when we visited in March. We highly recommend it. If you want to stay here, use this discount link: https://gc.synxis.com/rez.aspx?Hotel=69999&Chain=17123&promo=WEDDING *If you have already booked a room at Hotel Chaco, just call 505-246-9989 to cancel your room and use the discount link provided instead.

Hotel

El Vado Motel

2500 Central Avenue Southwest
Albuquerque, NM 87104
 (505) 361-1667

Vintage gets an upgrade! When it opened in 1937, El Vado was one of New Mexico’s first motels to greet travelers on famous Route 66. Today, El Vado is a unique blend of historic character and charm, combined with modern comforts and amenities. There's a pool here as well and it's not far from Hotel Chaco and Hotel Albuquerque (where the Friday night Welcome Party will take place). 9-minute drive to Los Poblanos.

Hotel

Los Poblanos Historic Inn and Organic Farm

4803 Rio Grande Blvd N.W.
Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, NM 87107

Los Poblanos, the site of the wedding, does not have enough guesthouses to accommodate everyone, but the other hotels we have listed are close-by and Ari and Chris approved. The pool on the property can be used by all of our wedding guests (but you didn't hear that from us).
