The Wedding Website of Ari Hershey and Chris Dally
You've got questions, you know we've got you covered.
Question

I have kids. Leave ‘em or bring ‘em?

Answer

As you know, we love kids! Actually, it’s impossible for Ari to see a child and not say hi. Kids of all ages are welcome at all of the events during the weekend except for Dinner and Dancing Saturday night. Los Poblanos has babysitters that they use and trust; please feel free to contact us directly if you want us to help coordinate. They have babysitters that can come onsite so you can party with us!

Question

Will there be a wedding block?

Answer

For those of our guests that want to stay at Hotel Chaco, be sure to use this discount link: https://gc.synxis.com/rez.aspx?Hotel=69999&Chain=17123&promo=WEDDING If you have already booked a room at Hotel Chaco, just call 505-246-9989 to cancel your room and use the discount link provided instead. We are looking into whether or not we can provide a discount to El Vado Motel. Check back here later!

Question

Will you be providing transportation?

Answer

We will be providing shuttle transportation on Saturday to bring guests not staying at Los Poblanos to the venue and bring them back afterward. Shuttles will pick up at Hotel Chaco at 3:15 PM and will to make return trips to Hotel Chaco 9:15 PM - 12:15 AM. Also, the good news is it's incredibly easy to get around in Albuquerque and Hotel Chaco and El Vado Motel are less than 10-minute Uber rides to/from Los Poblanos.

Question

What will the weather be like?

Answer

The weather in September in Albuquerque is divine. It can get pretty warm during the day, with a high in the 80s but luckily there is a pool at Los Poblanos, so bring a bathing suit and sun block! Expect the evenings to get into the 60s or even a bit cooler after the sun sets. The ceremony, cocktail hour and dinner will be outside so bring a layer!

Question

Is there a restaurant at Los Poblanos?

Answer

If you get the chance, we highly recommend eating at Los Poblanos’s restaurant, CAMPO. There’s a bar there as well and the food and vibe are hard to beat. They are open for breakfast and dinner, but happy hour is from 4-6 pm. If you’re staying at Los Poblanos, don’t forget to cash in on your nightly complimentary cocktail. A more casual option is located just down the road at a place called the Flying Star Cafe.

Question

I want to check out Santa Fe. Can I drive there?

Answer

Yes! We adore Santa Fe and the surrounding area so we recommend tacking on an extra day to go check it out if you have the time. You can drive there via freeways or take the scenic "Turquoise Trail" (Highway 14) in about an hour from Albuquerque. Enjoy a breathtaking view from atop Sandia Crest, then take a drive back in time through the mining towns of Golden, Madrid, and Cerrillos, which are alive with art, crafts, theater, music, museums and restaurants. You can also take the Rail Runner train from Albuquerque to Santa Fe for $9 each way and train stations on both ends are very short Uber or taxi rides to the historic centers of both cities. More info is located here: www.riometro.org/395/New-Mexico-Rail-Runner-Express. If you don't rent a car and still want to get to/from Santa Fe and the ABQ airport, you can take the Sandia Shuttle (http://sandiashuttle.com) for about $40 per person, or if you have two or more in your group, it might make sense to take an Uber for about $100.

Question

Wait, are they really making a Breaking Bad Sequel?

Answer

They are indeed. Crazy, right? Creator Vince Gilligan is working on a feature-length movie for Netflix that will be a sequel revolving around the unforgettable character Jesse Pinkman. For all you Breaking Bad fans, you too, can go on a guided or DIY tour of the key landmarks from the show as it was filmed on location in ABQ. Just google it to find out where to go! Or ask Chris’s stepdad Roy whose done it twice... Fun fact: a famous scene from the final season was filmed inside Garduño's restaurant where we are having the Friday night Welcome Party.

Question

That’s all you got?

Answer

As we learn more we’ll update this site, so check back from time to time.
