I’m Talia, Ariana’s older (and shorter) sister. I’ve known Ariana for my whole life, and have had the privilege of watching her grow into the amazing person she is today. From family vacations to New Hampshire to the countless times we laughed uncontrollably together in public, we’ve always found joy in the same little moments. And even though we’re pretty different (she likes treacherous hikes and camping under the stars while I prefer to stay home and read) we’ve always been able to meet in the middle, balancing each other in the way only sisters can. Because I’ve known her for so long, it was very easy to see how happy she was when she first met Zavi. It’s been so wonderful to watch them grow together and take on life as a true team. Their relationship is full of fun and adventure, the kind that comes from taking big leaps and choosing each other every step of the way. Zavi has felt like a part of our family for such a long time now, but it’s so exciting to make it official! I couldn’t be more happy to celebrate Ariana and Zavi’s next chapter and all the adventures still to come.

Hi, I’m Sergio, the groom’s brother. Although I’m the older brother, I often find myself looking up to him in many ways, and I’m incredibly proud of the man he’s become. Even if we are complete opposites—I prefer the gym, and he prefers riding around town on a retro bicycle in sandals—he even willingly moved across the country from Connecticut to Seattle (apparently a 3,000-mile change of scenery felt necessary). In my free time, I enjoy staying active, exploring new restaurants, experimenting in the kitchen, and spending time with family and friends. I’m most excited for the wedding because at the heart of it all, it’s about celebrating Zavi and Ariana’s love. Through that love, they’re bringing everyone together, and I’m officially gaining a beautifully compassionate sister in Ariana, whose love for others—and for all living things—shines through in everything she does. It’s the start of new memories as our families become one… and of course, the open bar.
