Hike Bridal Veil Falls
The spectacular Bridal Veil Falls is the tallest free-falling waterfall in Colorado. At 365 feet in height, these falls entice visitors and adventurers from all over the world to hike, bike, four-wheel drive, ice climb, and explore the surrounding wilderness. A privately owned, historic power plant sits atop the falls.
Attempt the Telluride Via Ferrata
Telluride's Via Ferrata is not for the faint-hearted. At its most intense, you're suspended on a small iron foothold by a harness at 500 feet. The newly-legal climbing route is technical, breathtaking and exposed on the East end and South-facing wall of Telluride's boxed canyon. If you do decide to partake in this incredible experience, please be safe! We highly recommend utilizing a guide to tackle the trip.
Soak in Ouray’s Hot Springs
Ouray's Natural Hot Springs Pool was constructed in 1927. It now offers a 250 to a 150-foot public pool containing over a million gallons of natural hot springs water. In addition to several soaking sections at a variety of temperatures ranging from 96 to 106 degrees, the pool has a lap swimming section, a diving area and a game area for water volleyball. The crystal-clear water, free from the strong smell of sulphur typical of many hot springs, makes the Ouray Hot Springs Pool more enjoyable and popular with visitors from around the world. Ouray Hot Springs are just a 1-hour drive from Telluride. There are 3 pools: hot, warm and cool.

Alta Lakes consists of three high alpine lakes nestled in the mountains past the ghost town of Alta. Alta Lakes offers dispersed camping (in designated spots only), paddleboarding, kayaking, fishing, hiking, and so much more.

Bear Creek Fall is one of Telluride’s most popular trails due to its accessibility and beautiful waterfall. This is an easy, wide trail that is well-traveled by both bikers and hikers.

Whitewater raft down the San Miguel River
The San Miguel River runs through the entire town of Telluride after starting at Bridal Veil Falls. It offers exceptional fishing, paddle-boarding, sightseeing, birding, rafting and more for 81 miles before converging with the Dolores. River. Outside of town, the San Miguel moves through San Miguel and Norwood canyons—providing phenomenal Class I – Class IV runs for boating enthusiasts.

From moderate overpasses to extreme roads, there is nothing like a 4x4 adventure ride on some of Colorado's most breathtaking mountain roads! Choose from a full-service guided adventure or rent a 4x4 vehicle for a self-guided trip. Mountain driving experience is highly recommended for all visitors venturing out on their own. Shop in Telluride
Take the gondola down to enjoy the beautiful town of Telluride, tucked into a box canyon surrounded by 13,000 and 14,000 ft peaks. The town of Telluride is just 8 blocks wide and 12 blocks long and is riddled with quaint mountains shops and cafes.
