We're getting married!

We were introduced to one another through mutual friends! We went out to dinner at Olive Garden and grabbed some custard for dessert. We clicked almost instantly and joked around like best friends. We shared almost the exact same taste in music and would not stop talking after dinner. Neither of us wanted the night to end! ¡Nos conocimos a través de amigos en común! Salimos a cenar a Olive Garden y tomamos unas natillas de postre. Hicimos clic casi al instante y bromeamos como mejores amigos. Compartíamos casi exactamente el mismo gusto musical y no parábamos de hablar después de la cena. ¡Ninguno de nosotros quería que terminara la noche!

Deven and I loved watching the sunrise together, we would wake up at 4 am and he would drive 30 minutes to pick me up and we would embark on a long drive to the lake to see the sunrise before heading to Mcdonald's and grabbing breakfast. While watching the sunrise at the lake in Port Washington, Deven first told me he loved me. Once we moved to Milwaukee, we continued to get up early to watch the sunrise above the lake. One chilly morning in October, we drove to the lake and colored rocks along the beach. Deven asked me to turn around and close my eyes as he drew on a rock, he told me how special I was to him and got down on one knee. He handed me the rock and told me to turn around, I opened my eyes and saw that he had drawn a ring on the rock and had written "Will you marry me?" I laughed before turning around and that's when I saw him holding the ring, only then did it hit me that he was proposing! Of course, I said yes, cried a lot, and then we went out to breakfast! Later that day we went to a pumpkin patch where my mom took our engagement photos, it was perfect. Una vez que nos mudamos a Milwaukee, continuamos levantándonos temprano para ver el amanecer sobre el lago. Una mañana fría de octubre, condujimos hasta el lago y coloreamos rocas a lo largo de la playa. Deven me pidió que me diera la vuelta y cerrara los ojos mientras dibujaba en una piedra, me dijo lo especial que era para él y se arrodilló. Me entregó la piedra y me dijo que me diera la vuelta, abrí los ojos y vi que había dibujado un anillo en la piedra y había escrito "¿Quieres casarte conmigo?" Me reí antes de darme la vuelta y fue entonces cuando lo vi sosteniendo el anillo, ¡solo entonces me di cuenta de que me estaba proponiendo matrimonio! Por supuesto, dije que sí, lloré mucho y ¡luego salimos a desayunar! Más tarde ese día fuimos a un huerto de calabazas donde mi mamá tomó nuestras fotos de compromiso, fue perfecto.
