In Turkish culture, the Takı Töreni is a meaningful wedding tradition that symbolizes the love, support, and blessings of family and friends as a couple begins their new life together. During this special moment, guests are invited to greet the bride and groom, share a dance, and participate in the tradition by pinning money to the bride and groom’s red sash. Gold safety pins will be provided at the ceremony for those who would like to take part. While participation is welcomed, it is never expected—your presence and support are the greatest gifts we could receive.
