When Brandt and I met each other, we were both dating different people, and apparently he thought I was a little intimidating. "Don't want to get on her bad side," type of thing. I figure he's a smart man. After meeting, we didn't honestly talk to each other much at all. We thought we didn't have a lot in common, and were basically just a friend of a friend. After a few years of that friend of a friend relationship, we both split with the people we were with, and were told by one of our mutual friends that we should date each other. I, in my tend to be too honest nature, told Brandt that he wasn't my type, but here's my phone number anyway. Shockingly, he didn't text me, as he seemed to think that my telling him that he wasn't my type was enough of a sign. The next gathering had me scolding him that he didn't text me, and my demanding his phone number so I could text him myself. That was the beginning of a very interesting and amusing relationship. We officially started dating on New Years 2017, had a bit of a break at the end of 2017, and reconnected in early 2018. We haven't looked back since. We both love nerdy things. We both love discovering NEW nerdy things. We have a mutual dislike of most vegetables. We are both drama queens. We both love dogs, and cats. We balance each other out, as I'm extremely social and he's a little more of a homebody. So we have been working on reaching a good middle ground on how much time we spend at home. We have big plans for our house and for our lives, and love our friends and family so much we could just burst with it. We have discovered how strong we are together, and one of our friends recently told us that once we are married that we will be the ultimate nerd power couple. We're pretty proud of that.
