The bride & groom graciously asks all guests to RSVP by Monday, December 2, 2024.
Yes. The theme is "Black and Bling: A Black Tie Affair".
Black Tie events are formal affairs that require you to be suitably dressed, where men traditionally wear tuxedos and women, floor length gowns. Modern black tie attire for men can include black suits with a tie. For women, cocktail dresses are acceptable as long as they are a bit more overstated and glamorous than the typical semi-formal dress.
We are requesting that our guests wear all black attire with accessories that sparkle.
Unfortunately, if your RSVP does not list a specific person as your plus one, that means that we are only anticipating your presence and your presence only. If you have a plus one and that person's name is listed, you and only that person are invited to attend. We are unable to accommodate additional guests, and that includes a different plus one from the one invited.
Unfortunately, they don't meet the age requirement. This event is a black tie affair for invited guests ages 21 and older ONLY. Please arrange for adequate childcare prior to your RSVP and arrival. If you are unable to obtain childcare for our wedding, we will miss you but will understand that you are just unable to make it!
Stay at The Renaissance Hotel, the nicest hotel in Downtown Albany. Winters in Albany can be unpredictable, and we would want you to be able to get to your hotel room relatively quickly should inclement weather be upon us, so it's best to stay at the Renaissance, where there is a shuttle to take you to the wedding venue and/or aiprort. Or, stay in one of the many hotels in Downtown Albany where your walk time to the wedding venue will be short. There are dozens of other hotels near the airport and in neighboring cities, but travel time to and from varies.
Yes. City Beer Hall is a public venue. Lunch is on your own. The happy couple will be dining at the venue at noon and will hang around to greet guests through the late afternoon. Come by and say hello, have a drink, toast the new year, toast the happy couple, and enjoy the spirit of the new year in downtown Albany.
The best place to park is in the Quackenbush Garage. Your hosts for the evening has taken care of the parking fee. See directions on the TRAVEL tab here on the web site for specific directions to the parking garage. Otherwise, the parking code is simply #123125.
