It started in the summer of 2018 when Nick moved back to southern California. Having found a love for climbing while living in northern California, he had to join a gym. Luckily, he found Hangar 18 where Aree was the manager and made him fill out a dreaded safety waiver…which he complained about, but that sparked the conversation. For a while, Aree was known to Nick's friends as ‘climbing babe’. Once our friends got to meet each other, our friends all new it was going to be something special. In March of 2019 we inevitably started dating for real….on Aree’s terms. Countless trips to Disneyland, Yosemite, and Snowbird brought us closer and closer together. Eventually, we decided to take the next step and make the drive to go skiing a whole lot shorter by moving to Utah. Our love for the outdoors, the mountains, and each other continued to grow stronger and stronger until we knew it was time to tie the knot. On Thursday, March 6th 2025, on top of the mountain at Snowbird, in the middle of a blizzard we made it official.
