How do I RSVP?

When RSVPs open, you can respond online through our website or by scanning the QR code on your invitation.

When do I need to RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by July 31st, 2026. We want to make sure we have an accurate headcount for food, drinks, and dancing!

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4 PM to be seated. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. Guests have received a timeline card included with their invitation so you can get a feel for how the night will go!

What is the dress code?

Answer

Black Tie Optional – We’d love to see you dressed to impress! Tuxedos and gowns are welcome, but not required. A suit and tie or cocktail dress will be perfectly appropriate. Please follow the color palette provided with the wedding invitation.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors in a shaded, open-air chapel. The reception will be held indoors in a fully air-conditioned space. Please note that September in San Antonio is typically hot, so dress comfortably for warm weather, especially for the ceremony.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you refrain from taking photos or videos during the ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer to capture every special moment. Feel free to take photos during the cocktail hour and reception.

Can I bring a date or plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only the guests formally invited on your wedding invitation will be accommodated. If you received a plus one, they will appear when you RSVP.

Due to our limited guest list, only children formally included on the invitation will be accommodated. We appreciate your understanding!

Is there an open bar?

Answer

Yes! We’ll have a full open bar available during cocktail hour and throughout the reception. Please enjoy responsibly.

What kind of food will be served?

Answer

There will be light hors d’oeuvres served during the cocktail hour, followed by dinner at the reception. We’ll be serving a delicious buffet style dinner with both beef and chicken entrée options, a variety of seasonal sides, and a selection of desserts.

Is there parking at the venue?

Yes, free parking is available on site at The Chapel at Gruene.

Is transportation provided?

Answer

We will not be providing transportation, but the venue is easily accessible by car or Uber.

Will there be hotel accommodations for out of town guests?

We haven't reserved a hotel block, but we’ve linked some convenient nearby hotels on the Travel tab of our website to help with your planning. Feel free to book wherever works best for you!
